Our living room was stark white. Our son Dave a Painter by trade did the living room and dining room this last week. It's so pretty now, very soft and warm, He's such a sweetheart and so very talented at what he does. More pictures to come.
It's been a very busy time, Painting the living room and dining room and changing my studio to another room. Wow!! you don't know how much stuff you have until you have to move it. Time to clean out, and redo. I'm so glad we are going out for Thanksgiving Dinner this year,although ! I will miss all the leftovers the best part of all the wonderful food. Hope everyones Thanksgiving is wonderful and many Blessing to all.
Went to my local St. Vincent store yesterday looking for things I might use in my art. I found this container of Embroidery floss Actually 2 of them, I kept one and put the other on Etsy, and doth are full and real clean. Also found a bag of white porcelin drawer pulls- Bonus-
A little rustic assemblage/collage in a old barn wood frame, I was not sure what was going to happen with this? some found objects from the woods,from I my recent hike. It's a bit crude looking, but I kinda like it.
I bought this old record album this summer, and it's been sitting waiting for something? It's a neat album to place favorite memories, old photos or special letters in or what ever you can think of. It's in my Etsy shop
The following pictures are of my guest bedroom. Looking for treasures for this room has been so much fun. It's starting to look kinda neat now. This picture of Mrs. Grover Cleveland was a cool buy at a local auction about 6 years ago-I knew I would find the right spot for her. The shelf below was given to me by my Mother-in-law, how sweet she was and miss her dearly. The rest is something I made or found on my hunts.
Another weekend closer to Thankgiving and Christmas yik's!!! have to get some shopping done, it's sneaking up fast. Been rattling my brain to think of new craft ideas for my shops? I think I have artist block going on here. I love everybodys neat crafts you all so talented.
