PAPER PRAIRIE ART DOLL

I was playing in my Studio today and came up with this Prairie Paper Doll. It has a real dress I made with brown twine hair and cloth hat. NOW I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH HER??? Put her in a frame? Hang her up? HELP!!!! Any idea's out there from your creative minds?  I think she needs shoes but then what?  Maybe just put her away and say I made one once Ha Ha!!

We are getting a good amount of snow here, nice day to stay put. Good tuesday evening to all. Smiles and giggles, Carol Mae

  1. Hi Carol Mae,
I have a similar doll like that that I hang from a hook in my front entryway. The hook is made out of old doorknobs, so it looks adorable. She also would be cute sitting on a stack of books, or in a cute mixing bowl in your kitchen or pantry. You have loads of options, my friend!

  2. Hi Carol Mae, Wow! Your doll is really beautiful!!!One idea would be to make a stand with a hook to hold her, but also to hang on wall is nice.Thank You for sharing. Best wishes, Sincerely, Jonny

  3. I love this doll. Oh it really brings back memories. I loved paper dolls. My Aunt used to save all the Betsy McCalls for me. I still have one paper doll from my childhood. It was called Heavenly Child and she came with different outfits etc. Childhood was much easier then. It didn't take a lot to make a child happy.
Thanks for visiting my post. I grew up in MN and had many friends in Wisconsin. Ski pals!
