FABRIC and PAPER ART FROM MY HEART

Out in the Prairie where the wildflowers grow and the song of the birds like melody flows, there's a peace God bestows that brings joy to the soul...

Shoppe Disabled

I'm sorry to say I have closed my Olde Prairie Shoppe for the time being. I may start up a new one this spring. Thanks to all who have visited my Shoppe. May the future bring new beginings for me. I still have my Etsy shop and loving it.

  1. Love your blog, love your blog banner, love,LOVE,LoVe the silhouette collage. Also love your wonderful home (a dairy farm in Wisconsin!), what a dream. I use a lot of silhouettes in my art as well. From the looks of your recent purchase we have the same taste. I'll be back.

  2. thanks for stopping by and entering my giveaway. Sorry to hear you are closing. One friend told me that when I opened my ETSY shop it would take some time for it to catch on. I am in the waiting phase myself. Good Luck to my friend.

  3. I hope you got all of the e-mails I sent you! I sent three and I looked this morning and one of them didn't get sent due to an error! Let me know how many files that you received! Two was of silouhettes (files 169-170) and one was a surprise (images1aa), just from me that I made!! If you didn't get it, let me know and I will send it again!

By the way, the altered art book sounds great! I will download the whole book for you if you will send me a copy of it when you are done! I would pay you for the copy!

That book is very special to me! It is over a hundred years old! If you saw in the link I sent, My Great Aunt Fannie gave it to me and she signed it (To: Baby Dumpling) which is what she nick-named my first child! If you go to:

you will find the memorials that I wrote after she passed away this summer. She was 96 years old and my mentor! I inheirited more of her genes than amyone else in the family! No one else has the "crazy notion" to own every piece of antique memborilia they can find--except me!! I feel like I lost a huge part of myself when she passed on!

I am making an altered mini-book right now--- 2.5 inchies by 2.5 inches--and have several more books torn apart to alter! But the time...you know...you raised four children...time is so fleeting!! One minute they're babies and then they're half grown! And then they're grown!! What are the ages of your children and grandchilren! YOU must be in Heaven with so many babies around!!

Gotta go--don't want to take up your whole page for all of my comments!
    Have a great day!
    Hugs, Kymberly
